That's still $300... A bit steep for some of us students. I use an
older version that I inherited from my brothers - they always need the
newest and greatest.

One of my clients (a school) just bought the "academic version". It's
available in many school bookstores. Requires only a student or faculty
ID
to purchase and is one-half the cost of the retail version.
Differences from retail? Um.... the box says "Academic Use Only".
