Great little thing but, using a wide in the snow I'd suggest an incident
light meter. Much more accurate. Also f22 may have been counter-productive
as the tiny aperture hole would compromise sharpness (diffusion?
diffraction? one of the above)
You think that's small and wide - try a Heliar 15mm!
