Mark, it's like getting a trigger job on your "friends" (Smith & Wesson).  
Once you try it, and get used to it, you'll never want anything else.

You just can't beat the wind mechanism of the early OMs.  The mechanism was 
busted on the OM-2S I bought for my bro-in-law (repaired by John H. as part 
of a CLA & flash indicator LED conversion).  One of the OM-2S's weaknesses, 
apparently.  I always wind mine ever-so-gently, as if it's fragile (which it 
very well may be).
