That doesn't sound right. Aria uses "normal" autofocus lens right? Which means the autofocus must be in the lens itself. Perhaps he meant the Contax-AX where autofocus is done by shifting the internal film-box?

done a modification of a Contax Aria by putting on an OM bajonet. This
way, Zuikos can be used on the body taking advantage of its autofocus
capability. The downside is that it does not do auto aperture. He said
he can do the mod for approximately 250 Euros, and the parts used are
of immacculate quality (first rate stainless steel etc.).
If any of you are planning to go to that show you might want to have a
look at it. While it is certainly nothing that I myself would buy
right now (especially as you need to have an Aria first) it sure
sounds interesting and worth a look all the same.
