Wayne,
I had one of these a few years ago in almost new condition, and it was
very nice even in high flare situations like high sun(4PM midsummer type
sun) or sunsets on water, or at least as nice as any lens can be in my
hands on my camera. This new one I can not say for sure about the
non-flare situations. My mind tells me there is something in the
pictures, but I am not sure. Just after sending my reply to your last
enquiry, I realized that I should have qualified it a little bit more. I
mentioned that I have seperation of an 1/8in in a couple of my large
format lenses with no problems. These have front glass that is 4" in
diameter in one and the other just a little less. I once had a 90mm
Angulon that had just the lightest separation on the edges, and it was
hard to do anything with it in anything approaching a flare situation,
but its front glass was only 3/4in or smaller.
