I don't know why a city scape or a seascape aren't landscapes. To me,
they deliver the same sense of place that a landscape does, and
that's certainly how you experience the world around you from those
perspectives. Personally, I consider cityscapes and seascapes subsets
of landscapes.

Considering that the earth is 3/4 water, maybe landscapes are a subset of seascapes. Doesn't it get meaningless after a while? My bathroom has a sense of place, but I would hardly call it a landscape. Why not keep it simple and use the classifications for what they obviously represent?
