In addition . . .
(a) The F280 must be switched into "Super FP" mode.
(b) GN of the F280 plummets as shutter speed increases in Super FP mode.
[occurs with all FP flash systems, including the original long-duration FP flash bulbs]

Before buying an F280 to use Super FP mode, look at its specs to ensure it will work for what you have in mind to use it for.
