PX625 1.35 Volt Mercury Workaround:

John H. *also* sells the exact same device and his S&H for it is less:

Been using one in an OM-1n and another in a Rollei 35S, with #357 watch cells which have near zero voltage falloff over their lifespan (same as the best ones to use in the OM-2S and OM-4). The meters in them are as accurate as they ever were, and the #357's are lasting nearly as long as the PX625 Hg cells did.

There's no reason to retire your gear (or the meters in them).

Here in Vancouver you can pick up a Gossen Lunasix 3 for $100 or less. I
have had mine for 30 years and it has worked flawlessly. The only
problem is that it, and other meters, take the now discontinued Varta
1.35v mercury button batteries!

Before buying check what kind of battery you will need. Along with the
disappearance of these batteries not only has my Lunasix 3 gone into
retirement but so has the meter in my Leica M5 body which also took the
same battery :-(
