Well I'm not a guy and don't own one, but I got curious and found a site of
user reviews (as well as loads of reviews by doing a google search). The
user reviews can be found here:

Users of this camera seem to adore it.

The first 35mm I ever used was my dad's Mamiya, and old screw mount bought
in the late 60s/early 70s. It was great. I went home to Chicago last
Christmas (I reside in the UK nowadays) and my Mom pulled out a box of old
photos, as Moms are wont to do. Lots of pictures from the old Mamiya, and
they were clear as a bell, really nice looking, great colour reproduction.
Not sure if that's any help, but they certainly know how to make cameras and
lenses.
