Wow, after reading this thread I ran off to check my lens to see if any
fungus was there. Happy to find all was well. Sad news about the lack of
rears for those that need them.
My need is a hard case for this lens. If anyone has one they are willing
to part with or sell, please contact me off list.

It's a cool lens, for sure. I really enjoyed it, and If I hadn't gotten
laid off 3 weeks after I had bought it, I'd have kept it. But I just
couldn't see keeping a $1,300, ultra-specialized lens when I was
completely
without income with 4 hours notice on a Friday afternoon.
