Yes, they're quite easy to clean.  The grease Olympus used tends to harden up
with time and the levers get a littly sticky.  The part that usually gets
stuck is under the white teflon block.  To get the block out you just unscrew
the two little set screws on the side and then lift the block out.  At this
point you'll see the complete stop down mechanism.  Try flushing it out with
lighter fluid, that will probably be enough to get it going again.
