Photography is a hobby for me. I use it for many photo purposes, especially for faster moving subjects (sports). My daughters all play soccer, basketball and golf and I have found this lens to take very crisp and well defined photos (Especially indoors where I have learned to photo shoot basketball games without a flash). Listmember Bob Gries latest photos of church architecture has given me some ideas for a similar photo shoot with this lens.

Almost forgot. I used this lens underwater at our local swimming pool for a competitive event (diving). Very different perspective. Since I only did this once, I have learned from my mistakes and would like to try this again. (Don't seem to have the time). The parents thought I was nuts.

Oregon coast activities include:
Whale watching
Bird migration & nesting
Lighthouses
Sunken ship(s)
Flowers

The possibilities are endless with this lens.

I rarely use a teleconverter with this lens and primarily shoot for its intended range.
