I've had problems with this lens too. I got it given along with an 
OM-10. I've only used it on a few occasions and didn't like it as much 
as the Zuikos (obviously!). Every time I looked through the viewfinder 
I had to move my eye around to stop the bottom half of the split screen
viewfinder from becoming black. Not completely sure if this the same 
problem but it is very annoying.
