 If you go to http://www.adobe.com/products/photoshop/newfeatures.html and
click on the 'healing brush' movie at the top, you get a 5-minute demo of
this in action.

 It looks like it's better than the standard clone, certainly, but if you
sit through the demo all the way to the end, it's not perfect; the area that
it repairs has a noticable dark patch to the right, because that's what it
was taking 'repair' info from. 

 (it would be interesting to compare this to the Gimp's resynthesise; that
does an amazing job of filling in holes with equivalent-but-not-copied
texture, though it's _very_ slow; see

example)
