[OM] [OT] Exerpts from the Kodachrome list

Brian Swale forwarded an anonymous note from the Kodachrome list which
claimed that Kodak Fair Lawn had ruined 4 or 5 rolls of film in the past
several months. It then went on to recommend Dwayne's Photo Service in
Kansas City as about the only alternative for Kodachrome processing.

In my slide shooting heydays (1975-1985) I shot almost exclusively
Kodachrome 64 with all of it processed by Fair Lawn with never a fault.
In the last 3 or 4 months I've started shooting a little Kodachrome 64
again. I've had 4 rolls processed by Fair Lawn (all at different times)
and all 4 have been perfect. The only fault is that it takes about two
weeks to get the film back.

Being of an ever suspicious nature I note that Dwayne's charges about
double the price of a Kodak mailer from B&H. Can anyone on this list
personally attest to having Kodachrome ruined by the Fair Lawn Lab?
More than an isolated occurrence?
