Hehehe, well, the thing is that I myself can be quite stubborn, so perhaps
the Fries don't stike me as being partiularly stubborn because I myself am
;)))

Hehehe, as mentioned above, perhaps you're right. :) Then again, I am quick
to change my mindset when I'm shown that my assumptions about something are
not correct.

I liked that part about Naarden, it is nicely done and you've gotten a fine
aerial view of it. Indeed, this is a very well preserved stronghold. The
things that happened during the various occupations were at times horrible,
just as the effects of Dutch colonialism (well, _any_ colonialism for that
matter) have often been horrible. Indeed, Europe's history has very much
been written in blood, so I was not too surprised to read the part about all
the inhabitants of the town having been burnt to dead. :(
