Jim T.(you too Jim C.) sorry we didn't meet up. This
summer the western washington Zuiks should get
together, perhaps on a sunday? If this sounds viable
lets pick a day, time and location. My friends arrived
about noon and we tried cameras for the next 3 hours.
She finally setteled on a mint Minolta XE-7 with a
50mm f 1.4 and IB. It was the camera she could see to
focus the best and all functions seemed nominal. She
also picked up a 135 2.8 Vivitar for $12, she and her
husband are really excited, now he wants a camera
also. This is the Olympus List but that XE-7 is a
doggone fine camera, silky film advance and solid
build. There seemed to be alot of OM-2's there and a
few lenses, I saw a 24f2.8, 35f2.8, 85f2, 100f2.8 and
a 300f4.5 I coveted the 85 but have not the means at
this time. John Robison

If I am not mistaken that is the Minolta that Leica reworked the meter and mount and sold as a Leicaflex.
