I tend to use 2 OM-4s, a Ti and a 4 with Ti circuit conversion, with an
OM-1 backup. That allows 2 different films/lenses to be available at
once. I suppose part of the reason I like this setup is that the cameras
operate identically, but I think more important for me is the spot
metering. I developed the mental ability to guess any needed exposure
compensation for most situations with my old Om-1 and 2n, but I really
like being able to pick the area(s) I want exposed at the center of the
brightness range and just push the button and shoot. Probably 800f my
pictures are taken using regular TTL auto, but I really value spot for
the rest.
Otherwise, it's not particularly hard to switch different models for
anything but very high speed/pressure work. It's immediately obvious
through the viewfinder which Oly I'm looking through, even the
OM-4(T(i))s, as I have an all matte Beattie screen in one and a 2-13 in
the other.

I'm not talking about the case where you buy a spare body on
ebay, but where you use multiple bodies on a regular basis. I
can see an obvious advantage to having multiple bodies of the
same model (no confusion), but what about the reverse case?
