Help!
I've been assigned to take a full length portrait of "Karl the Janitor". It's
not a standard portrait, we want to distort it a bit, and emphasize the buck
teeth, mismatched boots, swaggering pose, etc. So instead of using a 50mm lens
or longer, I'm trying this with my 24mm lens. Also, the background will be
digitally removed, so as long as it's bland I'm not worrying about that.

I have had a tough time getting this shot, and I would like suggestions.
The latest attempts are in this Snapfish album: <a

http://www.snapfish.com/share/p=58241020567741948/l=8008459 </a>.

The setup for this attempt was OM2n and Zuiko 24mm 2.8 set at f5.6, loaded with
Fuji Superia 400, and with a little Vivitar flash in the hot shoe. Held next to
the Vivitar flash was a homemade flash slave trigger gizmo, with a long PC
cord. the other end of the trigger cord was plugged into the pc cord of a
bounce grip 2 and T32, mounted on a tripod. The t32 was to my right. It was
about four feet off the ground (short tripod), and angled for a vertical shot
(as was the camera). The T32 had a 2 meter T cord plugged in, which went over
to my left side, and a Sunpak 433 flash in a t20 adapter, on another tripod.
There was overhead fluorescent lighting in the room, but it was turned off.
There was a glass doorway to the right, and a lot of light was coming in from
that direction. Both flashes were set to read their internal thyristors, and
set for a recommendation of f8.

As you can see from the photos, there's a lot of light fall off towards the
bottom of the frame, not to mention weird shadows from the low position of the
side flashes.

Besides turning the overhead lighting on, about all I can add to the mix is an
old "sun gun" movie light.

So, any suggestions, or should we just call in a pro?
