It has taken me years to learn not to obsess over dust specs on the
lens. But after shooting in the mud, on cliffs, around farm shops,
etc, I've learned that it takes a HUGE amount of crud to show up in a
picture. So a quick dusting every once in a while and a VERY
occasional swipe with the lens pen is as much as my lenses get.
Of course, my eyeglasses stay pretty dirty, too, so maybe I'm just
too damned blind to notice.
