My daughter's roommate just got a job offer at Lawerence-Livermore at an
attractive salary. Unfortunately the living costs will take a big chunk
out of it. They flew her down last week to check the place out and she
says that due to the recent layoffs in the valley there actually are
places to rent now albeit still at high prices. Still she's torn between
leaving the PacNW and the experience she'd get at L-L. OM content: There
was only one lonely OM1n besides my OM4ti at commencement last week amid
a sea of digitals and wonderbricks and p&s and video. I can't imagine
that 3/4 of the pictures taken by those P&S's in the audience will be
worth keeping though.
