Andy,
I think it's all a gamble :->...I've bought an Olympus OM4 T from
John Sloane which arrived unscathed without any trouble BUT it is a gamble.
It is far more hassle free to buy from Europe. I hope to bring back some
serviced OM1n's from the U.S. this summer to avoid the possible hassle from
the Customs + V.A.T. people if they are posted.
One possible get out is to state on customs form something
like....Repaired camera equipment returned to owner.... :-> Isn't this where
the thread started?
