Neither the 4Ti nor 3Ti that I purchased new came vacum sealed, they were just
wrapped in plastic. However, I do have a new 50/1.8 that is vacum packed.
This lens was purchased via an authorised Olympus dealer so it is authentic.
Perhaps there was a time when Olympus did vacum pack items.
