That's only a small part of the problem, and no one was ever "paid
off" not to reveal that reason. Jeez, is there a conspiracy theory
EVERYWHERE?

Thank you, George, for an intelligent reply.
When I saw the new M5 I was appalled. It was huge, heavy, and as
clumsy as Leica's early SL and SL2 attempts. It was the anti-Leica
and had no more capability than an M3 with MR meter. No way I would
have bought one.
