Wim,

It appears to be a shutter string. Many focal plane shutters use strings in the mechanism and in older cameras they appear in the frame because they have become stretched. A competent repairman can replace them. There was a lot of discussion of them on the list, also with pictures, several years ago. I don't know whether that is available in the archives or not.
