Dear Folks,

Many thanks to those who emailed me with advice about repairing a 50mm f/1.8
MIJ lens with a sticky aperture.

In particular I was directed to the page operated by Mark Dapoz:
http://olympus.dementia.org/Hardware/

I've lost the email from the kind person who directed me to this, but you know
who you are - many thanks.

In short I had to remove and clean all the mechanism, including the aperture
blades. This took a couple of hours last Sunday, and thanks to the diagrams was
not too difficult.

I have sent a description of what I did to Mark, so he can put it on his page.
In the meantime if anyone wants a copy, please email me.

Chris Barrett
