Rick - You can turn the head around on the BG-2... so that you can have the
'handle' for the BG-2 on the left side. Then you can release shutter and
wind (and hold the camera for focusing) with the right hand. Hold the BG-2
handle for carrying the camera and once focused. Its awkward, but you then
can take advantage of the extra battery power, the bounce-ability and the
red-eye reduction improvement. I agree it isn't as convenient as adding a
Winder or MD in there also, but it is a -little- lighter without the
motor...
