My observation exactly with regard to less attaching and detaching of
parts, and if the Oly converters are, as you say, and as I suspected,
better, then the Tamron coverters can stay home.  I'll keep them, along
with the N*k*n Adaptall mount that came with the lens, in the unlikely
event I ever decide to loan it to my blasphemous, infidel, N*k*n-using son.

Both live less than a mile from the east end of the Pellissippi Pkwy.
