As the old saying goes, the best camera is the one that you've got with
you.

Nice pictures. It's hard to fault the XA.

Skip, I won't question about the T2's optical quality and I believe it could
be better than the XA. I once complained a lot about the light fall off of
the XA because I have got some bad samples due to the inherence
characteristic of the scene. But I have forgot some beautiful photos I have
got with it. Recently I used my still-quite-new Nikon 4000ED scanner to
re-scan some of my 1992 Europe trip photos. There are some nice one that I'm
very satisfy in terms of optical performance, I think it is enough to be a
travel camera to complementary with my OM system. Below is two shots, one is
the typical night portrait photo I was talking about and the second is just
a normal travel shot but it shown quite well about the resolution of the XA.

This is taken with Fuji HG400, probably at F2.8 or F4 (134KB).

This is taken with Kodak Gold 100-2, probably at F5.6, different resolution
is available. This is a hand held shoot, may be didn't get all out of the
XA's 6 elements Zuiko.
