William,

One dropped an OM-1 25 or 30 feet when rock climbing, only damage was dent on
the corner near the film counter, and a dead meter. Camera worked fine
otherwise, and it was not to expensive to have the meter coil replaced. FWIW, I
have seen many a plastic camera literally explode with a 3' drop onto asphalt.
