which is uglier that the ugliest brassing IMHO.

Exactly.  I've got a perfectly good iS-1, with not a scratch on it, working
perfectly, except for one little thing: you can't load it.  The little
plastic doohicky that catches the film cassette is broken and it's
impossible to load.  Makes a nice paperweight, though.
