Somehow, it seems a pity to wait for great people to die before
paying them such a wonderful tribute.

rest today.  Gen. Davis trained and commanded the Tuskegee Airmen in combat,
and served his country and his race with distinction well into the present
day. As a measure of the nation's respect, a full missing man flyby was
performed over Arlington National Cemetary, though tradition dictates that
missing man flights be reserved for those pilots who die in the line of
duty.  The flyby was performed by a unique heritage flight of two Mustangs,
an F-15, and an F-16.  The number two Mustang was in the colors of the
