That's what I've been told. It is supposed to be a very complicated
process. I find that even regular E6 is "hard" (though not impossible) to
do in a darkroom, so I would not even consider K14. Although I really love
the results of Kchromes.....

Some of the things said about K-14 over the years were that the
temperature tolerances are incredibly tight. Seems like a tolerance
of 1/4 degree F. could not be exceeded without ruining it.
