Pfffft !!  You just wait 'til you're 50 then ask yourself if you
feel old. Maybe I'll
ask you.<g>

If he is having difficulty seeing the screen it's time he paid a visit to an
optician. The focussing mechanism of the eye gets stiff with age; however,
unlike with Zuikos, a CLA won't fix that. An auxiliary lens in front is needed
to cope with some focussing distances.

Really old at 50 - indeed !!  I have a very good friend who at age 94 years
plays a weekly round of golf and his mind is sharp as a tack. 50's only half
way there!

And considering that the first 20 years are a pupa stage concerned
with growth, development, education, socialization, and learning to
deal with raging hormones, 50 is not even halfway there.
