On an E-10? AF aside (which is not "shutter lag" per say and can exist to
some degree on all AF cameras) my timing (which is absolutely critical in my
type of work) is not disrupted in the least going back and forth from my
OM-4t and OM-2S to the E-10 and back. I do use MF, or AF to get focus and
lock to MF most of the time. Shutter lag is not an issue with an E-10/20
once you have found focus (and most of the time the AF is pretty quick
actually).
