However, Winsor...don't you think the OM-4 is a leap next
progression from an OM-1MD?   More logical would seem a 2n or spot
program..?

I think Bob can cope with it.  Really.  Why waste time getting there?
I used a Voigtlaender Bessamatic, Olympus Pen F, Leica M3, then a
Canon F1- all manual- and then got the OM4T. I would never willingly
go back to a camera without a spot meter and the option of aperture
priority autoexposure.
