Possible reasons:
1.  Almost everything has something wrong with it.
2.  T-32 has a possibly irreversable "fix", maybe cannot make right.
3.  One could easily spend more than the purchase amount to get
everything working properly.  And even       then, one would have a
collection of worn unremarkable (no special or hard to get) items.
4.  Most of us on this list aspire, generally, to the "Shine it may,
work it must" concept.  We want our     gear to work, looking pretty is
nice, but it must work properly.
5.  For what would probably need to be done, the price wasn't all that
great.
6.  In summation, why buy headaches ?
