[OM] Focal Reducer

I've been wondering if the opposite of a teleconverter could be made, 
especially to adapt regular Olympus lenses to the new ODSLR with a smaller 
image area. Apparently the astronomical community is way ahead of us. They 
have such a thing already, called a"focal reducer". See

Wouldn't it be nice to put our 50/1.4 on the new ODSLR and get an f/0.5 
with a normal field of view? Or the 250/2 and get a 100/0.7?
