It's good service like that which serves to retain customers. My experience with Olympus-Japan was an example and I have had similar in other areas of interest. ... Now I am *sure* what my next tripod is going to be.

I'll second that. I've called Bogen twice for repair parts and received both
shipments within the week. Once with a bill and once with the shipping papers
marked "no charge." Not bad for a 10 year old tripod(3021).
