Hi TM,
This 21/3.5 is a black ring, late version SC, cosmetics is excellent to
excellet plus, but certainly most people will say it is Mint - in ebay.
I have shot two test slides each for both lenses. At F8, the edges
resolution of this SC 21/3.5 has better resolution then my 21/2, the 21/2
was slightly better at the center. Both lenses have very similar contrast
(non back light condition) and color. But honestly say contrast and color
has to be tested under different lighting condition and test both slide and
negative, just two test shots can't see too much.
