TOPE11 is architecture, yes? Crummy smoggy inland empire means I really can't do anything decent outdoorwise (or are there decentish things to shoot that fall under that normal "architecture" definition). I do have a shot in mind I took while in houston (yes it fell inside tope datelines)... but i'm wondering if i'd be the only one pushing the definition. Granted I still have about 3 weeks, and I might try something in that time that is more "classical" oriented. But what i want to know is, what comes to YOUR mind when you read "architecture".

Acer,
I read the definition of "architecture" in two dictionaries, one relatively new and the other very old. My imagination starts there . . . without preconception and the only restriction being somehow fitting what I found in the dictionaries (using OR logic [vs. AND, or XOR]).
