Well, I have to say that I was a bit skeptical about all the glorious
reports of the XA cameras being Maitani's gift to compact cameras, but I
am really impressed! The only fault I can find (maybe it is just mine -
it will probably go in for service), but it seems that it over-exposes a
bit (slide film - print would be OK).
Very quiet, and intuitive to use. The min. focus has me a bit
disgruntled, but not bad for what it is. I'd recommend this to anyone
who doesn't want to carry around a lot of weight.
The design is also quite interesting - sort of looks like a Star Wars
droid, or something. My only other comment is that gunner metal grey
would have been a good color.
