Don't worry about that.

This is probably correct. I've had people offer me less than
the starting bid or offer to buy it at my reserve price, some-
time during the auction and sometimes after the auction ends.

That's what I would have written. Sometimes I will counter-
offer to get the sale, if I think the item is difficult to sell.
