I'll add to this the comment that I have yet to see a digicam with decent
bokeh. What's out of focus looks *bad* to me. Nonetheless, digicams have
their uses...

Of the above, the biggie is the lack of DOF. I hate everything is in focus 
look of the digi-shots....

To add to that, unless it is an interchangeable lens system, you don't get 
the choice of the prime lens to get the fast speed or special feature.
