Yeah, Chris, you were all such good boys, always obeying the rules...

One time, standing with my OM1n (content...) on top of Fords of Avon bothy
in the Cairngorms, I was overflown by a Jaguar who came from the north; I
was facing south at the time. You know how it is; you don't hear 'em until
you feel the earth shake.

Well, I was glad I hadn't had bran and prunes for breakfast. I could have
slapped him with a survey staff, and the blast of hot air (hot hot air...)
is with me still.

Speaking of F104s, I remember one of the display teams had their loose pair
do close passes in Widowmakers, 13 times. It can't have been a coincidence.
There was a lot of crashing of 104s at the time, I think they were proving a
point.

I still think that Javelins were the noisiest, though...
