There are many places on the Internet where this topic is

appropriate than the OM List, especially since this will

most any
question that comes to mind will get you there and show you

That said, you didn't indicate your developer or
development time. You
can alter the "standard" D-76/ID-11 look of most any film
by selecting a
different developer or choosing a different
E.I./development time.  You
might even find you like a particular B&W film in larger
formats but not
in 135.
