But that's a trivial short term problem. For example, Archos makes a nice
MP3 player with a 20gb hard drive. Has a inch and a half color LCD. Can
display images and MPEG videos on the screen. Has an optional attachment to
directly plug in a CF card and copy it to the hard drive, review it, sort it
into folders, delete it, etc. USB 2 to your computer when you're readdy.
OK, let's say the image files are 50MB a piece. More like 20, with a touch
of compression. A 1GB Microdrive holds 50 shots. The 20GB drive holds
1000.
Oh, and it only weighs about 8 ounces.
Problem solved.
