Please don't think that I am complaining, but the upgrade from
Elements to Photoshop 7 in the UK is £GBP464! The full price is
£GBP586!!!.

That was the upgrade from an earlier version of Photoshop. There is
no official upgrade from Elements to Photoshop. You pay the full
$600. Check the web site. There does seem to be an informal limited
time upgrade via eMail to current owners of Elements that is_only_
$300.
