Only 8 miles Rich! I live about 25 miles from the distribution
centre of our "local" commercial delivery service (CityLink) and it
takes about 2&1/2 hours to collect what they apparently could not
deliver.
Give me Royal Mail any day; I always ask for it.

That's true of many companies. If you prefer and ASK, they will
often use US mail. For me UPS is good IF I'M HOME. Otherwise, it
turns into a 2, 3 day ordeal, phone calls, and an 8 mile drive (each
way) to their delivery center.
