I don't have an OM-4Ti, so I'm not sure, but my plain OM-4 won't fire a
non-dedicated flash (that is, when the flash-ready signal is not received
by the camera-- just like taping the flash-ready contact) on AUTO, whatever
the shutter speed.
What is a non-dedicated flash? Is there such a thing? Even 3d party
flash units have interchangeable feet for various cameras.
